Once upon a time there was an industrial revolution, which among many other things gave many parts of Europe and America nice loft spaces to someday transform into chic boutique hotels.
Take 19th century Frankfurt loft, add minimalism, the color white, and adjectives such as open-minded, cosmopolitan and intimate and you get The Pure.
Like any good hotel-fairy tale, this newly opened hotel is already making the design world take notice with recent write ups in Wallpaper* and Lifestyle Navigator. Besides the complimentary laptop usage, they also offer a Media Jukebox with 40 movies and 1,000 songs on demand.
The lobby transforms itself during the day, from being calm and refreshing in the morning, to nightclub in the evening. One guest felt a little underdressed, and equated the room to "A Clock Work Orange." The all-white interior, alas has been done. Have you been to an Apple store recently?
