Monsters of Luxe Take Grand Cayman

October 24, 2005 at 2:21 PM | 2 Comments

Every since 1995 we have had a strong aversion to the whole "Dream Team" moniker.  It was fine when it was a group of all-star bballers beating up on Lithuania, however, when "Dream Team" became a group of money hungry Hollywood lawyers helping OJ beat the rap, we disassociated.

In any event, we would be remiss if we didn't dub the crew behind the new Grand Cayman Ritz Carlton something, so let's call 'em "the monsters of all that is luxe."  Eric Ripert is the celeb chef, Greg Norman designed the environmentally friendly nine whole golf course, Jean-Michel Cousteau is running aquatic education programs, and Nick Bollettieri will rule over the tennis program.  Not bad huh?  Oh, and the resort is right on Seven Mile Beach.

This place is set to open in December of 2005.

Pic of "Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman"

Umm...that is a picture of the Ritz Carlton Montego Bay, not of the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman.....unless they look the exact same.

    Well...

According to Expedia that is the Ritz Grand Cayman:

But I think you are right on, so let's

change it to the placeholder beach pic on the Ritz page:

Oh, and when a real Ritz GC photo is taken--can someone hook us up?
