Winter is calling. Here in the Northeast we haven't seen the sun since god knows when.

But not so at the Bucuti Beach Resort in Aruba. (Cue song: Kokomo by the Beach Boys.)

The hotel is offering the Winter Warm and Fuzzy Getaway for Couples.

The package includes "hotel accommodations with balcony or terrace, a bottle of champagne, continental breakfast buffet, candlelight dinner for two on the beach, daytime snorkel or sunset sailing cruise, a gift basket with goodies to warm the heart and all tax and service charges."

The offer is good from Dec. 23 to April 16, 2006. A five day/four-night package starts at $1399 for a superior gardenview room and the eight-day/seven-night package starts at $2,274 for a superior gardenview room.

Tara Reid, maybe you want to book one of the resorts Tara Beach Suites, where there is nothing but alcohol, ciggies and bikinis guaranteed to have wardrobe malfunctions.

Here is what a couple recent honeymooners thought of the place:

During the day on the beach they give you red flags to plant in the sand when you want a drink and/or food. The drinks came fast, but the food was slow; however, when you are on vacation and supposed to be relaxing, who cares about the time, right? We didn't.

The rooms in the Tara Suites also had a humidifier going that was somewhat loud, but to be perfectly honest, I barely noticed it. Plus, I would rather have that than it moldy in there.

Oh yeah, and if you are old school you can call the Bucuti and ask about the deal.
