USC-ND: Careful Where You Lay Your Golden Dome

This week the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame host the number one ranked USC Trojans at the Golden Dome.

Every year, thousands of U.S. football fans make a pilgrimage to South Bend Indiana. They aren't in South Bend for the Studebakers, nor the Hummers, these folks want to watch the Irish play football.

And every year, a few unfortunate souls find themselves checking in to the Knight's Inn South Bend. It is only a weekend rigt? You will be at the game most of your stay right? Well, every year, at least one of these Knight's Inn South Bend guests seems to write a hotel review of their Irish experience on TripAdvisor, here is the 2004 edition:

When I first saw the Knights Inn listed on [dedacted], I thought, "Great! It's close to campus, it's available, and it's not as expensive as other hotels!" Well folks, it's true what they say about deals that seem too good to be true. Except we paid $150/nt for a room that was anything but a good deal. The room was moldy, the walls were discolored, the shower was just disgusting, the bed was lumpy, the pillows were awful (dare I even use the pillow?), there was ----- hair on our sheets, and, worst of all.... there were ropes tied to the four legs of the bed! I hope I don't have to spell that one out of you, but let's just say that this hotel is probably frequented by "undesirables." Gross.
