Amazing Race 6 Hotel Report: Gus Reviews Budepest Hotel

Where: Szent Istvan Park, Budapest, Hungary

When the Amazing Race teams checked into Hotel Fortuna, on the Pest side of the Hungarian capital, some teams seemed in love (the blonde and the visor guy), some teams seemed on the verge of destruction (Rebecca and Adam), however, it was a tired and warn out ex-CIA agent named Gus who gave us a one line review of the boat hotel.

Gus said, "It ain't great digs, but it's better than sleepin' on the street."

Hotel Fortuna offers two types of rooms, those with your own bathroom, and those that share a bath. The latter can be had for ~25 Euros, and the former for around 70 Euros.

The floating hotel is located outside of the center of town, but it is just a short tram ride away. If you are looking for a 3 star hostel alternative for a night in Budepest, you might want to look into the Hotel Fortuna, unless of course the though of sleeping on an anchored boat freaks you out.
