Sweetheart Deals: 24 Hour Lover

We can avoid February 14th no longer. It is the end of January, Boston based Necco just released their new "Sweetheart Sayings", and the Valentine's Weekend hotel deals are gathering dust in our mailbox. So why aren't we sharing them with you? Well it is time for us to put our feelings about this "holiday"...cough...manufactured bullshit day...cough, cough, aside and realize that whether or not we choose to celebrate Febuary 14th, we still love the fact that many hotels offer some great, creative packages this time of year. So without further ado, here are the HotelChatter "Sweetheart Deals" from hotels around the world.  We will try to do one a day between now and a week from a day, and the title of each deal, will be our suggestion to Necco for 2006 "Sweetheart Sayings".

W is offering a 24 hours of romance package at all of their hotels, where availability still exists. We priced it out at 72 hours of romance, and found, for $1000, we could get ourselves a Valentine's Day weekend at the W San Diego. A couple properties we tried were already sold out, so if you are interested you might want to check into it soon.

So what do you get for a grand besides a weekend with your significant other?

·    Late 3:00 pm checkout giving you a full 24hrs. of Romance
·    Champagne and Sweet Treats for two
·    Rose petals on your pillow

Oh, and one more treat, a Position of the Day book where you get to learn about positions like the "Snowblower", and the "Quasimodo". If those positions are already old hat to you...you are very cultured.
