West Hollywood Face Lift For The Summerfield

Ok, so it isn't much of a surprise that a West Hollywood resident is going under the knife this winter to get ready for spring, however, since the doctor performing this reinvention is the Kor Hotel Group, our interest was sufficiently piqued.

The Summerfield Suites Wyndham in West Hollywood is undergoing a major renovation and ownership change. Currently, the Summerfield offers suites complete with kitchenette in a good West Hollywood location, and a rooftop pool. The rooftop pool is small, but offers excellent views of LA. On March 1 the Summerfield will morph into the Chamberlain West Hollywood. The Kor Hotel Group, the folks behind the Viceroy Santa Monica and other swank hotels, is behind the Chamberlain, and promises high-thread count sheets, gas log fireplaces, highspeed Internet access, flat panel TVs, and that rooftop pool, complete with cabanas and a bar.

The Chamberlain will keep the residential theme of its predecessor when it opens, and hopefully the good service the Summerfield is known for as well. No opening deals have been announced as of yet, but we will keep you informed as the date gets closer.
