Hotel Domus Pacis

[Editor's Note: You know the drill, this is just one incident, so take it as such, but what is going on over in Italy? This is the second hotel *warning* we have received in the past couple weeks.]

WARNING THIEVES AT WORK HERE. We stayed here after Christmas and had our camera and laptop stolen out of our room while we were in the hotel lobby. The room doors automatically lock upon closure, however, we came back and the door was still locked but items were gone. Front desk was very rude about the theft, so we went and filed a report with the police. Next morning I talked to manager who told me he would turn into insurance and they would contact me within 20 days. They have yet to contact me nor will the hotel even respond to my requests for information about there insurance so I can contact them directly nor will they answer my travel agents requests for information.
