The main course will consist of either Grilled New Zealand Lamb Chops with Coarse Grain Mustard, Honey Roasted Belgium Endive and a Pinot Noir Stock, or Cumin Seed Crusted Sea Scallops with Leek Sauce Celery Root Puree. Another option is a Pine Nut Crusted Tenderloin of Veal, Beef and Pork Roasted Beets, with Wilted Spinach, served with Grilled Portobello Mushroom Sauce. Dessert will be Warm Chocolate Tart with Hazelnut Gelato Cardamon Syrup, with coffee or tea (of course, we know what the real dessert will be).
On Saturday, Feb. 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Brown will pair with the hotel's executive chef Andrei Tscharner for an aphrodisiac cooking class and sampling. The class includes champagne upon arrival, hour-and-a-half demonstration and food sampling, and an autographed copy of "The Seduction Cookbook" for $45 per person or $80 per couple.
The hotel's Aphrodisiac Accomodation Package starts at $459 for a a room with an ocean view, champagne upon arrival, the six-course dinner, the Saturday class, cookbook, and valet parking.
For more info call 310-319-3111 about the dinner and class, or 310-576-777 about the whole shebang. And you thought those folks from Wickedly Pefect had a monopoly on this sort of stuff.
