Argonaut Hotel: From Inside The Nautical Walls

This place is all it is cracked up to be. We love the kitschy nautical theme, though it may induce seizures in some, for us it just runs so parallel to the touristy nature of the Fisherman's Wharf area, where this hotel resides. Not in a bad way. Like we have said before, this hotel makes you want to be in Fisherman's Wharf...if you can imagine such a thing.
The rooms are a mix of brick and timber, comfort, and Maritime decor. Inside each room you get a flat screen (but not a flat panel) Sony television, a DVD player, and Nintendo built in to your TV.
To complete the room inventory, we found Aveda bath products and a hairdryer in the bathroom, and, of course, Kimpton's comfortable beds, two of 'em, in our main room.
Business travelers will be happy to know that you have both ethernet and WiFi in the rooms, plus a surge protected power station to plug in as many electronic devices as you can pack into your carry on.
Whether you are on a family vacation, a business trip, or a romantic getaway, we are guessing you will love this hotel.
Ok, that is it for now, we will be back with a final story on the service here at the Argonaut on Monday, please let us go back to enjoying blue skies and sixty degree weather while we can.
