Still suffering a hang over from your New Year’s Eve bender? Well if you are in New Orleans seeking a cure forget conventional wisdom, which suggests aspirin, or hair of the dog, and stop by Loew’s New Orleans Hotel, where Sara Baker, the “recovery concierge”, aka the “queen of excess”, will help you with what ails ya. Sara’s job, according to a Miami Herald story, is to find a panacea for each individual lush. She suggests Ginger-root tea and a Po-boy for breakfast, caffeine, bath salts and steamed water – along with helpful hints on how to recover from your binge.

''There are two standbys that I never fail to fall back onto. The triple T -- Tylenol, tea and toast -- and Café Du Monde,'' Baker says hurriedly, her hotel bustling with New Year's traffic. ``I'm here to help people handle the excesses of New Orleans.''

We will stick with beignets from Café Du Monde and lots of water before passing our answer to the Crescent City’s dehydration punch, thank you very much.
