What Would Brian Boitano Do?

Flipping through the channels on New Year’s Day we came across Brian Boitano’s Skating Spectacular from Mandalay Bay in Vegas, and we stopped on the channel, way longer than we should have. The result? We witnessed a segment where Brain Boitano and his “ice rat pack” of skaters took us on a tour of the Mandalay Bay. As Kristi Yamaguchi and Elvis Stojko were traipsing through Mix, the Mandalay’s new penthouse bar we were treated to our first views inside the bar.

You remember Mix, the new ultra slick bar atop the Mandalay, that boasts a 360 degree view of Vegas (pictured to the right). As we were watching these skating has beens make their way through Mix we kept thinking back to the reports we received about the club way back when. Models vomiting in the bathroom, hipsters OD’ing, general mayhem and madness, you know the drill. Watching the skaters tour Mix we couldn’t help asking ourselves…what would Brian Boitano do at Mix?

Hopefully, we at least got a good photo out of the deal.
