HotelChatter Reader question on Hawaii boutiques

A HotelChatter reader, headed for Oahu, Hawaii writes asking:

I didn't notice much on your site about Oahu- thinking of staying at Turtle Bay or Ko Olina resort.

I love sexy boutique hotels- but I can't seem to track one down on Oahu (most hotels that advertise themselves as "boutique" seem really just small and kinda tacky)- other than the W, but I wanted something a bit more unique than that...any advice is most appreciated.

Can we help her out?  If you Hotel Mavens out there have any suggestions leave 'em in the comments below.

    Couldn't find much

    Sounds like Hawaii needs some more hotel rooms, according to demand.

    Of course, you probably read about this place here on HotelChatter, and you know about the W.

    The other hotels you mentioned sounded good as well, we did get directed to this place, by another reader, though I am not sure you wanted a rental.

    Anyway, hope that helps a bit.
