Are You A British Beach Babe?
The six-storey atrium at the legendary Great Eastern Hotel on Liverpool is a little sandy right now.
"At The Beach guests will be able to sip cocktails while relaxing on beach cushions and deck chairs on a raised boardwalk that surrounds the main beach area. Giant beach balls and inflatable seaside creatures will cascade down the rotunda while palm trees and Isle of Wight `sand art' will give a feeling of Great British seaside summertime."
London's only all-weather beach was inspired by the "Paris-Plage" - "a temporary artificial beach built along the banks of the Seine."
It is open to the public Monday-Friday.
