Read his response below:
Thanks for the update, I was not aware that citysearch even posted any reviews as I mentioned to you in the interview, the same review was on their site since October of last year. I put mine in as a test to see if they ever changed them, I will remove now that you have told me they posted it. It is all true though! I invite you to interview anyone you want at our hotel and any guest you want at anytime, because I know our hotel is superior to most. didn't' mean to upset your world with "carpet whatever".
Our intention in publishing the previous update was to let Rick to know, that in our opinion, posing as a guest, and writing a glowing review about your hotel, that is posted to a spot where people are coming for guest opinions of your property, when you are an employee of said property, is a bit, how do you say, shady and misleading?
Of course, if you are just testing a sites posting system because they have only posted one review about your hotel in nine months, that is different, but there must be a better way, right?
In any event, we are glad Rick is taking down his "review placebo".
For the record, this is the review Rick referred to during our interview, and it is the only review CitySearch has posted in relation to Hotel Marlowe since October 2003.
Finally, we agree that Rick's hotel is superior to most; we just feel there must be a better way to show that fact to possible future guests.
