THOR rises out of Surface Hotel tension on the LES

What was that hackneyed slogan that Marix Revolutions used before releasing that god awful third movie, "Every Beginning Has an End"?  

Well it looks like the end of the Surface Hotel is upon us.

Curbed spread the news that Surface is now The Hotel at Rivington St.,or THOR, and THOR is no longer Surface.  Got all that?  At this point, can't we just call this property "hotel-who-must-not-be-named".

Surface the magazine has already moved on, and is now pimping the Muse hotel on their website.

Of course, THOR is still scheduled to open in late September.  Can't wait to get the low down on the opening.
