Amazing Race 5 Hotel Update: Burj Al Arab

This week the Amazing Race crew journeyed to the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

O my god doesn't the Burj look like a sweet hotel? This off shore skyscraper property boasts its own helipad. Man, do those oil princes live in style, or what? Don’t you get the feeling that Dubai is maybe fifteen years away from being the next Las Vegas.

The Burj was designed to look like a mainsail, and at night this place puts on quite a show with its light, water, and fire show.

The racers just rushed in and out of here, but you could tell they were taken aback by the incredible architecture and the ostentatious decoration of the Burj.

What we want to know is when the teams got word that they needed to wait twelve hours in Dubai until the Burj opened the helipad did CBS hook them up with rooms in the all suite hotel? Hope so.
