It seems prostitution is slowly and slowly working its way to becoming a full on Olympic sport (have you checked out female wrestling yet?).

A couple of South African Olympiad fans -- staying at a "hotel" in Athens -- provide an even better case in point:

"When we got out of the lift on our floor and saw a condom machine in the passage, we knew we'd been taken for a ride at €270 a night," said Samantha Krog. When they entered the "Turquoise Room" reserved for them, they found themselves in a passion-purple haze strung with tinsel. They were, it turned out, the victims of an initiative by the Athenian authorities to reduce prostitution in the city during the Olympics. Prostitutes were driven underground during the build-up to the Games and establishments like the Hellenico opened their bedrooms to tourists.

Brothels moonlighting as hotels at the Olympics? Someone wake up Costas, we have a breaking story near the village.
