No doubt about it, like Dre, the Hard Rock invented the vibe that many others try to follow in Vegas these days.  Many other resorts of successfully expounded on the Hard Rock theme, but the HR is still one of the busiest places to see and be seen in Sin City.

From the time you walk into the small circular casino until the time you push through the guitar handled doors you should be able to find plenty of ways to enjoy yourself at the Hard Rock.

The casino is small, but you will never get lost in this casino, and there is a strategically located bar right in the middle of the gaming floor.  On the outskirts of the casino you will find the famous Mr. Lucky's (kinda a high class Denny's...isn't that an oxymoron?), The Joint (where the dancing and concerts go down), and if you walk down past the sports book you will head down a hallway that leads to a whole new world.

In this new world you will find a sweet cigar shop, The Pink Taco, and Nobu for your dining pleasure, and even a Starbucks.

The rooms at the Hard Rock are downright ordinary, and the rock music in the elevators and in the halls may be a bit much for you in the morning, but you are here for the scene, not the amenities or the peace and quiet.

Of course the Hard Rock scene begins and ends with the pool.  Complete with swim-up blackjack, a grotto, and the persistent rumors that a lot of the girls you see poolside are nothing more than hired "help", the Hard Rock pool never fails to disappoint those looking for boy and girl eye candy.  Want to get an idea of what is going on at the pool? Check out the Hard Rocks pool web cam.

If you visit the Hard Rock be prepared for crowds.  This is an extremely small resort for Vegas standards, and after a while you may begin to feel like you are at a rock concert, the crowds can get that bad on a Friday or Saturday night.

Despite all the competition, the Hard Rock still manages to keep its hip allure, and doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
