Sleeping with Ghosts, The Tiberias Hotel

A new boutique hotel is being built in Israel, and the locals have found themselves in a bit of a controversy.

"The existing structure is a large basalt house with arch-shaped windows and painted floor tiles that served until 1948 as a Muslim girls school. Construction has begun on a foundation for six additional floors for 120 rooms with a view of Lake Kinneret. In the course of digging foundations for the southern side of the hotel, ancient remains were uncovered that may be graves, and religious authorities want to halt construction there."

No matter which side of the beam your vote is on, the dead just might be the ones to have the last moan.
