Sam's Town, part of the Boyd Group of properties, is located on the corner of Boulder Highway and Flamingo, six miles from the Strip.  Sam's Town features rooms built around a spectacular indoor atrium. A water-and-laser show dazzles visitors nightly.

Taking what was a calculated risk in 1979, father and son Sam and Bill Boyd opened Sam's Town. Their goal was to create an environment where locals would feel comfortable playing. Nearly two decades later, Sam's Town has become an indispensable stop for locals and visitors alike.

The hotel has 56 lanes of bowling, 18-screen movie theater and Sam's Town Live! entertainment complex.

The hotel is already offering package deals for the NASCAR 2005 Race.  It is also offering package deals for the National Finals Rodeo to be held in December (no word on whether Sam's is adopting the now defunct Hard Rock slogan "Get ready to buck all night", see previous story), and last but not least, the hotel offers a birthday deal during the month of your birthday.
