Memo to Sony, Philips, Gateway -- you suck! Sincerely, Prestigio

Cyprus' 5-star Four Seasons Cyprus wants to enhance its up-style environs -- but how?

42" Plasma TVs, baby... but there's so many to choose from! Well, the hotel decided, and it's going with Prestigio.

Just what were they thinking? Let the geeks, who researched the bejesus out of plasma TVs for this article, explain:

  • It features a wide-screen format (16:9 aspect ratio)
  • ultra slim, light and thin case (69 mm deep)
  • P421T screen with anti-glare coating ensures high brightness and contrast ratio (1000:1), coupled with 160 degree viewing angle, thus offering brilliant picture quality
  • Additional features like 3D comb filter, Digital Visual Interface (DVI), auto detection for NTSC & PAL make this TV even more attractive to sophisticated customers
  • P421T can handle a wide range of signal sources via Scart, VGA, audio and video ports
  • Its trendy design and easy wall-mounting make it an ideal choice for home theatres, control rooms, meeting rooms, executive offices, corporate lobbies, and many other applications

Screw the crystalline beauty of the Mediterranean, stay indoors Euros... attach Spectro-vision to this puppy and it'll be better than a nude beach!

    Yuck!

A press release!  Eeeww.  Maybe I will just take this down right now.

But, we do have a soft spot for any hotel that goes flat screen.

So the "geeks" you quoted were PR geeks, never heard of such a thing.  PR wonks...now those folks I know.
