[Publishers Note: This story comes to us from one of Sin City's recent visitors.  Where are the rooms in this Space Needle hotel anyway, the top? or way at the bottom?  We would ask this chap, but it sounds like all that Wild Turkey wiped out his memory.  Enjoy the weekend.]

Recently, I stayed and lost at the Stratosphere on the far north end of the strip. Despite what the locals will tell you about machines "that pay", and that this is the place to start your vegas shuffle, I tend to disagree.

The room numbers are in the twenty thousands, and after consuming ample amounts of beer and Wild Turkey I was simply unable to find my bed for the evening.

I was nearly asleep when hotel security poked at me with a collapsable baton, the kind commonly used in law enforcement, and explained to me that there "is no sleeping in the pool area".

Regardless of my pleas, I was sent to my room after a quick radio call to the front desk. In reality, they more or less carried me.

The buffet was lovely however, and I would return.
