Lady's First design hotel is definitely unique. Minimalist chic with a conscience.

Their philosophy is to "create a special 'joy of life' atmosphere in our attitude" and make an effort to give part-time jobs to unemployed women in need.

The 19th century house was renovated by architect Pia Schmid and has the top floors reserved for women only. This includes the massage, wellness, and cosmetic areas.

Though it is housed in a former boarding house for women, the hotel is now a designer heaven: large corridors with wooden floors give onto 28 bedrooms, with different colour doors. The rooms are minimalistically chic, with duvets on the beds and better than average products in the bathroom, including a rather nice body lotion." —Guardian
