HotelChatter will be on location in SF at the end of next week, and we find ourselves scurrying around for a hotel at the eleventh hour (you're aghast I know). If you're anything like us, when you go to San Francisco, the last thing you want to do is stay down by Fisherman's Wharf. Barking sea lions and wayward tourists, all before 8 am? Sorry, that is not our bag; though now that the Argonaut is on the scene, we are going to have to break our own rule one of these days. The Argonaut looks like the place.
In any event, we left next weekends trip up to a spin of the ole' Internet travel roulette wheel and scored a $107 per night room at Hotel Palomar. A Kimpton property! Can the roulette read our minds or what?
So what will it be like staying on top of Old Navy? We'll report back after our June 20th return. Until then, if you are thinking about checking out the Palomar on short notice yourself, and are looking to score the same deal, we suggest you check out Hotwire, as well as the Palomar reservation site. Here is what we found last night when we quickly checked the Palomar site. (No guarantees you can get this now)

We know, you want to know the dirt on the other deal. Well, it was four and a half stars in Union Square East. So if you see one of those rooms at $107, odds are, it could be the Palomar.
Good Luck Voyagers.
