Curbed, the hot new Manhattan real estate blog, is on the scene over at the Surface Hotel, and is reporting, umm, progress?

Though the "worker" in this photo doesn't look all that busy, it does appear the Surface is nearing completion .  

As promised, we will keep you posted on the goings on at the Surface Hotel.
