Weekend Deals at Soho House; Courtesy of a Runaway Bride

The oh-so trendy Soho House recently banished Gawker gabber Choire Sicha after his pub repeatedly brought up the meatpacking joint in their daily gossip posts. However, yesterday, Choire put aside the feud long enough to point out that a last minute wedding cancellation has the Soho slashing room rates this weekend.

But of course, Choire's armistice wasn't without snark.  Here is part of Choire's ringing endorsement for a weekend at the Soho:

- should you have snotty out-of-towners incoming, why not? At least it's as easy to find drugs upstairs as at any of the Schrager hotels.

Our take?  If you are going to be in Manhattan, and have a chance to stay at the Soho at a cut rate, do it!  This is the place of the moment in Manhattan, thanks in large part to, the Gawker feud.
