Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong: Can It Stand Up To the Hype?
Hong Kong's first new five-star hotel to open in Kowloon in a decade is calling itself "the World's Most Technologically Advanced Hotel". The Langham Place Hotel, Mongkok has combined Cisco's IP Phone system with Crystal Voice's "Click-To-Talk" solution to enable the whole world to communicate with their guests through computers. The 665-room, 42-storey hotel, will be a big WiFi bubble. Rooms will have in-room mobile phones to use throughout the hotel, wireless cards to borrow if your computer doesn't already have one, and large plasma screen Tvs.
