Tim Poster and Tom Breitling started Travelscape, where they bought unused hotel rooms at a wholesale rate, sold them back to us at a retail rate, and then sold the whole shootin' match to Expedia in 2000 B.B. (before bust).

These days the multi-millionaire duo owns the Golden Nugget casino in downtown Vegas, and they are looking to turn the floundering casino into a moneymaker again.

Of course these days, turning around a struggling business is a lot easier if you have Mark Burnett on your side, so Tim & Tom are playing real life Monopoly right before our eyes on the Fox network, starting tonight at 9pm.

We would like to take the high road and tell you we won't be watching, but the big board is has us at 3:1 to add "The Casino" to Tivo's season pass manager before the night is through.

    It starts tonight!

Mark, you forgot to let them know front and center that it starts tonight! I'm definitely watching it. Or were you counting me as one of the three?

So glad you posted about it. I would've missed it.

    Disappointed

Maybe it was the first night jitters, but I wasn't all that impressed with "The Casino" last night.

Seemed disjointed, like a bad MTV documentary, instead of a dramatic Burnett reality show.

Maybe the show will hit its stride next week.
