Here at Hotel Chatter we have been sitting on a story about the Hermitage Hotel for a while now.  We always try to bring you the straight scoop on hotels, as well as a boatload of hotel gossip, and we weren't sure this story achieved those goals.

However, when Jack White, the White Stripe's front man, recently showed up at the Hermitage for Loretta Lynn's album release party (he produced the album), we suddenly felt we should mention the property here. (Yes, we love the White Stripes.)

Since we were planning on mentioning the Hermitage, we have decided to publish the original story below and ask you guys to provide us a bit of feedback.  Ever stayed at the Hermitage?  Is it as good as advertised, or is this story just a piece of marketing fluff?  Can the Hermitage stand up to the lofty standards set forth in this piece?  Let us know.

Here is the story originally submitted to us about the Hermitage.
