The Superior and Deluxe rooms are not huge, but charmingly appointed. Copious rays of morning sunshine streamed through the mist outside the windows of our airy, 10th floor room. And the plush mattress proved easier than most on my fickle back.
But for me, it was touches of subtlety that made the experience here unique. The marble bathroom floor, the half-bottle of champagne in the mini bar, bathrobes and umbrellas tucked away in every closet, and my favorite newspaper in the morning. Just the little things that made me realize that every need would be catered to promptly and fully.
A host of in-house services ensure that you don't blow precious down time on distracting errands. Here they'll press your suit in an hour, exchange foreign currency, even shine your shoes for free.
Come evening, they can even host that perfect romantic dinner you'd planned-- at Meritage - The Restaurant, where Chef Daniel Bruce's pricey but imaginative creations await your discerning tastes. Pairing wines with your food is the name of the game here, so be sure to take your time to scan the extensive selections. When the weather permits, you can also grab a quicker bite waterside at Cafe Intrigue.
For newcomers to Boston, especially in the spring and summer, the waterfront location is a treat-- with the aquatic wonders of the New England Aquarium and the boutiques and eateries of Quincy Market a short walk away.
