PETCO Park and San Diego's New Omni Hotel

"America's Finest City" is thrilled about their new ballpark. To go with it, they built a 32-story luxury Omni Hotel just a fastball away. The Omni San Diego Hotel, California's third Omni, will have 512 rooms and connect to PETCO Park by a skybridge.

While there are several hotel packages available, the one to note is the "Homerun Special". Baseball lovers and funseekers alike will love the Padres game tickets, easy access across the new Skybridge to PETCO Park, complimentary baseball movie and "Welcome amenity including peanuts, crackerjacks, popcorn,sodas and an official Omni-PETCO Park baseball", as well as a self-guided historical walking tour through baseball history and memorabilia, among other package goodies.

PETCO PARK will open on April 8 for the home opener against the San Francisco Giants.

But the Omni San Diego won't just be booked up during baseball season. It is convenient to the San Diego Convention Center, and adjacent to the popular Gaslamp Quarter.
