Vegas New Year's Eve Check In

The vacancy light is still blinking in Vegas, for New Year's Eve night, at least at certain hotels, though you will have to search a bit, and pay a bit.

Here is what we found available for Dec 30, 2004 through Jan 1, 2005 on Orbitz Las Vegas as of this afternoon:

·   The Mirage: $388
·   Paris: $345
·   Mandalay Bay: $315
·   Luxor: $294
·   MGM Grand: $292

All of these places are on or close to the strip, and they are filling up fast, so by the time you get around to booking, the above "still available" list may have changed considerably. Of course you can also find motels, bunny ranches, two star jobbies, and campgrounds that will take you in, but if that is the road you are going you should look elsewhere.
