WiFi hotel horror stories are rolling in response to our Best and Worst WiFi hotel lists.  So we took a moment to choose our favorite story and get it up for you.

Imagine going to a conference on the future of wireless broadband, and finding out that the conference is being held at a hotel that doesn't even have WiFi in the lobby and conference rooms!  Whoops.  The Park Plaza may have a riot of WiFi execs on their hands...Thinkpads crashing through lobby windows in protest is the visual we are getting.

This just killed me! I attended the WiMax conference at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel yesterday. Here's a conference devoted to the future of wifi over larger geographic areas and the freaking hotel doesn't have wifi in the lobby, on the conference floor, anywhere I could tell. Sure, I could saddle up to the two computers in the business center and pay some ridiculous per hour fee. But c'mon! Everyone in attendance had a wifi-enabled laptop - Thinkpads and Dells everywhere. Nothing!

Anyone that wanted web access had to use mobile dial-up.

PATHETIC!!!
