Curbed pointed us to this NY Times review of 70 Park Ave's newly opened Silverleaf Tavern.

It is a tad unusual for us to comment on restaurants, even when they are in hotels, so we will let the NYT reviewer do the bulk of the reviewing.

It was mostly the service that left this reviewer miffed:

"We want you to know we've got some food working for you," he said. "It's working for you." Would it do my laundry? Clean the windows?

The reviewer leaves us with this thought:

It has some real problems. And they are worth pointing out because it also has some virtues. Because there's hope.

Sounds like, according to the Times, the Silverleaf gets the bronze for now.
