Well, well, add us to the list.  Looks like that sometimes shifty Sikh billionaire, Vikram Chatwal, and his PR machine, have burned us as well.

We just talked to some folks over there about a follow up story we were putting together and the conversation went something like this:

HC: You guys have iPods right?

DNY: No (pause) not yet.

HC: Really? No iPods in the rooms?  Hmm. When we talked before you mentioned iPods in the rooms.  Can I get one from the concierge?

DNY: No, not yet.

HC: Any idea when?

DNY: 2 or 3 weeks?

Ugh.  First LaChapelle now us.  So if you happen to see other publications touting iPods at the DreamNY, don't believe the hype...yet.

If you are looking to check out a hotel with iPods, we know this hotel has `em, though they are bolted to the desk.

We will let you know when iPods arrive at DreamNY, or better yet, you let us know.
