If you're into extreme skiing and love nothing more than being a snob "member" - be sure to check out France's first members-only boutique hotel and bar, the Clubhouse, which is located in the Alps, and set to open December 12, 2004.

The Clubhouse website touts BMW X5 airport transfers, classic cocktails (? - is that supposed to be a particularly alluring adjective for cocktails??), ski clinics, spa treatments and best of all - Myla sex toys in the mini-bar. Ooh la la, is right! Guess when you are in the "club" you can't just use any old sex toys, gotta have a brand name for everything. Jeez, sex toys and French speaking hotels seem to go hand in hand these days. Membership, once again, has its privileges

The Clubhouse is being opened by veteran members-only club owner, Jonathan Downey of London's Milk & Honey and The Player fame.

There are three membership options being offered. The first and the cheapest is the international membership which is 150 euro a year. The Local membership is 300 euro for 3 years and is only available to those living 250km from Chamonix (wherever that is exactly) and the final is a Founder membership. Sorry folks, that one is by invitation only.
