Hotel Victor: Vibe Central

USA Today reports that Victoria Prado, formerly of London's fashionable Metropolitan Hotel and one-time general manager of Miami Beach's Townhouse Hotel, is taking on a new job assignment: Vibe Manager.
Hotel Victor, a new 91-room hotel opening in stylish and happening South Beach, will depend on Prado to keep their anticipated celebrity and jet-set guests pampered, impressed and coming back for more.
Among Prado's plans are subtle but essential changes to the music, lighting and scents, according to the hour, clientele and mood. Some specifics: she'll "direct staffers to dim lights, light candles and load diffusers with scents such as soothing thyme or pep-me-up eucalyptus." And she won't only focus on the air -- with a hands-on approach, Prado intends to have a tete-a-tete with each guest to customize their experience. "I'm going to call every single arrival and say, 'Welcome... What are your desires for the stay?'"
With resident DJs, day beds by the pool, a unisex hammam, bars and VIP areas, and with the help of their Vibe Manager, the Hotel Victor hopes to keep their guests paparazzi-free while creating all of the glamor of a hot nightspot/spa/resort/B&B.
If you'd like your vibe adjusted, call (800) 720-0051 for a reservation. But you'll have to pay a pretty penny -- rates start at $475 during peak season.
