Hotels Near Fenway

The World Series is coming to Fenway Park for the first time in eighteen years, and the Hub is abuzz with excitement. If you are coming to Boston for the series, either this weekend or next, then you will need a place to stay, which could be quite a challenge to find.  Hotels around the city are booking up fast.  Our first piece of advice?  Stay within a block or so of the green line (the T).  We know, the green line isn't known for its speedy service, but it will however drop you off right at Kenmore Square, which is a mere meters from the old ball yard.  Our second piece of advice?  Book soon.  Hotels in the area are filling up fast. Of course, every visitors dream would be to stay right under the Citgo sign, in the midst of all the action Kenmore Square has to offer.  The following three Fenway Park area hotels hotels still have availability for Sunday October 24th and Sunday October 31st:

Hotel Commonwealth, Hotel Buckminster, the Howard Johnson Inn.

We are sure these places will be sold out soon, so if you are looking for a room near Fenway, during the series, hurry up.  Of course, even when they do sell out, your best bet will be to call them, or check their web sites, to see if any cancellation rooms have popped up.
