Vera Wang moonlights as hotel designer

Is there anyone left that isn't a hotel designer?  Fashion queen Vera Wang has designed her first hotel suite at Hawaii's Halekulai Hotel.  

Vera Wang Suite at Halekulani will feature home accessories, furnishings and jewelry designed by Ms. Wang.

Some highlights from the 2,135 square foot "Wang Center":

·    50" HD Sony Plasma TV
·    642-square foot ocean front lanai looking over Waikiki beach
·    Mirrored dressing table, set against a mirrored wall, and a bathroom tub mirror sandblasted to create a filmy appeal.

Guests who stay in the suite will also have exclusive use of a private pool cabana, and serviced by a special Pool Butler.

It will cost you $5,000 a night for the pleasure of spending the night in a Vera Wang inspired chamber, and before you fumble around for your credit cards, we should tell you this room isn't open for business until sometime in December.
