Nicole Kidman and posse snub luxury hotel

World Entertainment News Network reports that Nicole Kidman spent only one night at Normandy Barriere in Deauville, France before checking out in a huff with no explanation.

Nicole was in town for American Film Festival screening of her new film, "Birth" and had reportedly reserved 17 rooms at the hotel, usually a celebrity favorite. Her spokesperson's only comment: "There may have been 12 rooms, but certainly not 17. Nicole does not travel with a big posse."

Since when does Nicole Kidman travel with a entrourage that needs 12 rooms? Since we can't remember the last time we needed to book a dozen rooms, we will go ahead and disagree, 12 rooms *does* signify a big posse. Guess it is time for the Aussie to change her name to N. Kiddy.
