Caesars Entertainment, in its first move into European gaming, has signed a deal with a United Kingdom leading real estate company to develop a $600 million luxury casino resort outside London, the company announced Monday.

The 400-room Caesars Wembley, which will be built on 13 acres in a 58-acre redevelopment area adjacent to the redeveloped Wembley National Stadium and the Wembley Arena, will feature a casino, a luxury hotel, designer shops, convention and meeting facilities, and restaurants, bars and lounges.

According to co-developer Britain's Quintain Estates:

"People in the past came to Wembley an hour before kick off and left as soon as they could get out of the car park. We want to change that ... we want to create a day out for them."

No telling what effect all this will have on the most famous soccer stadium in the world, though we do know the stadium is being rebuilt as well. All we really know about Wembley is that Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson use to pack in tens of thousands of people for concerts there. Yes, we are ignorant americans.
