Recently visited Nine Zero, one of only four Conde Nast Traveler 2004 Gold List member properties in Boston.   The celebrity factor is high at this property. In the past,  both Christina Aguilera and The Bare Naked Ladies have checked-in  to Nine Zero while touring through Beantown.  Apparently, the VIP's stay in the swank Cloud Nine suite (pictured to the right), which is loaded with top of the line amenities.  This penthouse suite is equipped with a giant Fujitsu Plasma screen TV, an incredible view to take in with your own telescope, and a spacious marble bathroom, all for $3000 per night!  Thankfully, it appears that Nine Zero not only takes care of the well to do, but also shares its ultra hip environment with the lay people. Nine Zero looks like the perfect hotel for the discrete business traveler.

The property offers a comfortably hip environment, perfectly suited for the performance of most business tasks, while still staying on the cutting edge of the Boston scene.  The hotel offers free Internet (CAT5 cable), but ubiquitous WiFi is still a couple months away.  The properties location is a short walk from most in-town corporate locals.  Once all your business needs are met you may get the itch to explore Boston's historical treasures, and since Nine Zero is located on the popular Freedom Trail, you won't have to stray far from your bed to take in the sites.  Finally, if you get the itch to see a rock show, The Orpheum is just a stones throw away.  The Orpheum is a great old theatre that attracts some of the biggest names in rock and roll.

In the future, we will be experiencing the service, and sampling the food at this property.  As always I will report back here to give everyone the 411.
