Hotel Commonwealth Responds

[editor's note, by rusty] Tim Kirwan, Managing Director of the Hotel Commonwealth has written in with the following response to our earlier article. Take it away Tim...
We always enjoy constructive feedback from our guests and equally enjoy external interest based on various sources of information. We find guests who actually experience this Hotel are amazed at the quality, service and lack of controversy. However there was so much discussion about one of the five elements used on the outside of the original building that the facts seem lost in translation. We are replacing this element this winter on the entire building and at the same time finishing the opening of 14 stores, our second restaurant and begining the subway and Kenmore Square public improvements. When completed this May we will be truly "dressed" and formally introduced to the market. Meanwhile we will continue to excel with superior service, the best rooms product bar none in our catagory and enjoy the success of Great Bay Restaurant, the creation of Chef Michael Schlow and Chris Myers of Radius and Via Matta fame. All the Best with this new site and if the information is fact checked and reliable it will be a huge success and in fact a great service to the traveling public.
So there you have it. In the impartial view of management, the Commonwealth does not suck, and HotelChatter will be a huge success. Also, we did not solicit this posting in any way, so I guess Mr. Kirwan does indeed keep a close eye on Commonwealth publicity.
