A Killer Video View From Krishna Palace in Mumbai
It doesn't take much trolling to learn that most of the hotel-oriented videos on YouTube are some variation on "Me and Stacy really drunk in the hotel room" or some narcissist jumping on the bed and showing off his/her supposedly impressive figure in a partial state of undress.
Occasionally we find a gem though that takes us far away to a more exotic place. This one was shot from a room window of the Krishna Palace Residency Hotel in Mumbai--the city formerly known as Bombay. Mumbai is a unique city in India in that you won't see any auto-rickshaws in the picture. That make the traffic here look downright orderly compared to what you would see in Delhi or Jaipur.
Keep watching though and you'll notice that there is no stoplight by the crosswalk. Pedestrians just boldly step in the path of buses and hope for the best, praying to Krishna perhaps.
The hotel was completed in 2004 and though we're not sure what it means, they claim to be "among the very few Wi-Fi certified hotels in Mumbai." Standard rooms are $90 a night, which is a relative bargain these days in Bollywood.
