Ayurvedic Hotel in Goa

If an ayurvedic boutique hotel doesn't sound trendy then what does? But in this case it's more about the actual idea of ayurveda rather than trends because it's actually India...Goa that is.

The Pousada Tauma hotel is a different experience that's for sure. Loaded with tons of names you can't pronounce that in turn mean treatments that aren't your usual Hilton spa massages, (like the Copper Bath, above, where "spinal treatments" are given) there is a full menu of relaxation and detox package deals along with your stay, many of them being longer than 2 weeks.

The hotel features just 12 rooms, each with a different theme (most likely themes we won't understand anyway) and is walking distance from the beach.

So if you want to clear your mind, jump on the ayurveda bandwagon and bring back pictures of a hotel stay that could leave your friends thinking you traveled to medieval times, then give it a go-a.

L'amour Beach Resort is a little piece of paradise on the Benaulim beach in Goa. If you are taking the train in like I did, you'll get in at Margao station. Benaulim is a 20 minute taxi cab ride from there.
