PAPARAZZI
Fame whores, movie star wannabes and party people who simply like to keep A-list company flock to where the famous go. Surrounding yourself with celebrity connections seems to increase your social activities and party crashing options exponentially.

A mecca for celebs, world class shopping and people-watching, the tiny island of St. Barth's in the French West Indies is known for its elite (and pricey) hotels. Eden Rock, a member of the ultra-luxe group of Relais & Châteaux hotels, is a fave of the wealthy and fabulous, with its intimate layout of only 32 beachfront villas and rooms, soft white sandy beaches and impeccable attention to detail. Rates start at $704 and include chauffeured limousine airport transfers, champagne upon arrival and daily breakfast.

Celebs like Oprah Winfrey, Christina Aguilera and Pierce Brosnan flock to the 2,355 room mega-resort Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Over-the-top amenities like more than three dozen restaurants and bars; 11 swimming pools; a luxury spa; a 10-acre marina, and a casino larger than any other in the Bahamas or Caribbean make it a playground and refuge for the famous. Rates start at $549, but if you book three nights, the fourth one is free (some restrictions apply). There are also special deals for Florida residents, as well as kids, who stay and play for free.

Several hotels throughout the Bahamas will pick up the tab for your companion's airfare when you book a stay of four nights or more by March 3, 2010, including Atlantis. The “Companion Flies Free Package” is good for travel through June 23, 2010 with some blackout dates. For more details, visit the Nassau Paradise Island website or the Bahamas tourism website.
