1. Pillows: This one is easy. You're gonna want lots of pillows. Use them! They can be sex aids! If you're staying in a luxury hotel that offers a pillow menu, try one of every size. If the hotel has a measly selection of pillows, raid the housekeeping cart for more.
2. Clean Bedspreads: Also, hotels that are good for sex generally lack that atrocious "bedspread" situation -- usually a coverlet distinguished by a godawful blue/purple/yellow/green floral pattern that has never been washed and is serving to camouflage the type of stains you don't want anywhere near your own naked body. Look for white sheets that are crisp but not scratchy before you go rolling around in them.
