WHERE TO SIGN ON AND WHERE TO HEAD TO STARBUCKS IN THE U.S.
Below are the following hotels in some of the top cities in the U.S. where we have personally signed on to hotel networks and either surfed the internet easy peasy or begrudgingly paid a 24-hour fee. We'll be adding to this throughout the year but if you've got a WiFi charge we should know about, send it along!

NEW YORK

· Eventi: Free for Kimpton InTouch members
· Andaz Hotels: Free, free, free!
· Ace New York: Free for guests, lobby dwellers can get a code off the bar/coffee menus
· Dream Downtown: Free
· Bryant Park Hotel (this hotel made the switch from pay to free, thanks to our report!)


· Trump Soho: $14.95 a day
· 60 Thompson: $10 a day

· Omni Parker House: Free for Omni SelectGuest members


· Ames Hotel: $14.95 a day

CHICAGO

· Public Chicago: Free

· InterContinental Chicago: $14 a day
· Affinia Chicago: $9.95 a day

LOS ANGELES

· Montage Beverly Hills: Free
· Andaz West Hollywood: Free
· Four Seasons Los Angeles: Free for internet and email. Anything requiring more bandwidth is $18.95 a day


· Thompson Beverly Hills: $10 a day
· Hollywood Roosevelt: $10 a day

SAN FRANCISCO

· Argonaut Hotel: Free for Kimpton InTouch members
· Hotel Vitale: Free


· Clift Hotel: $14.95 a day
· W San Francisco: $14.95 a day
· The Westin St. Francis: $14.95 a day

MIAMI

· Angler's Boutique Resort: Free
· Canyon Ranch: Free
· Viceroy Miami: Free
· The Tides: Free


· Fontainebleau Resort: Part of the $17 daily resort fee.
· W South Beach: $14.95 a day

LAS VEGAS

Sadly, most hotels in Vegas make you pay for internet whether it's a la carte at $14.95 a day or tacked onto a resort fee which averages about $15 a day. Stay tuned for VegasChatter's forthcoming WiFi report.
