New York: A New Hotel-Themed Show Is Coming To Comedy Central

Comedy Central has ordered a pilot episode of Almost Vacant, which <a href="http://www.deadline.com/2012/01/comedy-central-orders-hotel-comedy-pilot/">Deadline</a> describes as following "the misadventures of two inept friends, Jim and Nic, as they work at a low-end budget hotel in upper New York." The show's been written by Nicolas Wright (above) and James Woods, who co-starred in IFC's <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0825695/">The Business</a>, which was about an ex-softcore-porn-director trying to make a name for himself as a respectable indie filmmaker. While not too many details on Almost Vacant have emerged, we're sure glad to see more

Now, we can add Milford, Pennsylvania to the list. The <a href="http://www.njherald.com/story/16511890/milford-inn-will-be-setting-for-celeb-chefs-reality-show">New Jersey Herald</a> is reporting that Ramsay will be making over the <a href="http://cp.zidster.com/River-Rock-Inn/">River Rock Inn</a>, a B&B housed in a 10-bedroom Victorian-style house built in 1876. According to the hotel's <a href="https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/The-River-Rock-Inn/150248039600">Facebook</a> page, producers for the show have taken over all bookings, and have so far received over 1500 reservation requests, from (we're guessing)

'How to Make it in America' Has The NYC Hotel Hierarchy Listed

When two fashion buyers from Gadzooks in St. Louis come into town looking for fashion ideas and wild parties, they get a little lesson on what's hot and what's not in the hotel world. Los Angeles: 'Entourage' Continues to Make Love to LA Hotels

The final season of Entourage is turning out to be one long-lasting makeout session with Los Angeles hotels.

In the season's second episode, the boys found themselves unexpectedly shacked up in a "penthouse" suite at the Hollywood Roosevelt. We're using quotation marks because we're pretty sure that's a fake hotel suite set up for filming purposes somewhere not inside the hotel.

The W Hollywood also made an appearance, although slightly veiled as their Delphine restaurant was given a Hollywood makeover as celeb chef Bobby Flay's restaurant. (Currently, Flay does not have an LA shop.)

And in this week's episode, nearly every important scene took place at a hotel.
